converting an unprotected dvd

My girlfriend made me a dvd of her playing guitar and i want to put it onto my phone so i can watch it and share it with other people easily. My phone, nokia n95 8gb, has plenty of storage for it and it accepts mp4's and 3gp's for videos. Does anybody know of a good free program to convert this dvd into one of those formats?

It seems that your phone uses almost the same formats as ipods, there are a million ipod converters out there. Try using http://download.videohelp.com/download/SUPERsetup200723.exe

I missed the mp4 part.
I was thinking of 3gp

for one time off conversion can use a shareware or demo version od dvd-to-mp4 conversion software. Google it...

or use like DVDDecrypter to extract the entire video as one video file, or as multiple files then convert the VOBs u get with SUPER.
