Connecting my home stereo to my computer

Hello, I was wondering how I would go along connecting my home stereo to my computer.. I couldn't really figure out if I just need to buy certain cables, if my integrated sound card could work with that or if I would have to purchase a new sound card.. Any response is greatly appreciated thanks!

you can use an rca to 'headphone' cable from radio shack, it works well.

make sure ur Stereo has an AUX input tho...

i use that too....but if you have a problem with the cable try getting a FM broadcaster i use that somtimes also..... both the cable and the broadcaster work great........it will work for you as long as you have a FM tuner in your stereo
