I bought a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Value recently and right now i'm not sure which speaker i should go for. i'm only a gaming dude and know nothing about speakers. Here's the following options for me.

1) Creative Inspire 7800 7.1 Speaker System ($129.99 CAN)

2 ) X620: 6.1 Subwoofer with 6 speakers 70W RSM ($90.00 CAN)

3) I'll be very appreciate that if anyone can suggest me some

I'm currently out of budget after buying the 6800 GT video card and a 512 ram so something within 200 would be good.

THANKS

do u have T7700 available there? I'm sure they wil be.

esle if u want really powerful system. that can shatter ur windows.

then Creative megaworks 5.1 (they'll be a little more expensive than Inspire series, but inspire is just OK) thats y a getting rid of them to get Gigaworks 7.1 S750. they ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

in ur case, i'll recommend T7700

or spend a little more and get TD7700 (comes with decoder) adds another plus to your PC's outlook.

and also, check prices on Amazon as well, they are really good at prices.

thanks blind arrow

i'm just a high school student and i dont hav a credit card. TD7700 is not availble in BestBuy so i might get T7700.

btw, wut is the decoder for???

as the sound coming out of the PC isnt true 5.1/7.1

therefore decoder equally transmits into channels. giving a virtual 7.1/5.1 experience.

but as well, the Audigy 2 comes with a internal AC-3 decoder built in. so buying T7700 will as well be OK.

also, difference b/w TD7700 and T7700 is the decoder only, which can be purchased seperately. its model number is: DTS-100

you can buy the external decoder after 6-8 months or so when u have money to spend. OK? it will then turn ur T7700 model into TD7700 (where D stands for Digital/Decoder)
