Allright. Here's my first post and bigest problem. I do alot of video editing. My camera and copy of MGI Videowave are my best friends. Recently, my computer got virused, and ive been working with it to fix alot of its problems. Seeing as a i dont have a restore disk, my computer is still crippled. anyway, i recently installed the Divx and Xvid codecs to endoce and watch divx and vxid movies. The divx stuff plays in the divx player, but in MGI, windows media player, and all the other media players i have, they dont seem to recognize the divx and xvid codecs, or any media formats for that matter. this is an issue, beacuse just last wek i was able to view and play mpeg videos, and it seems like all the programs now dont recognize the files or codecs. ive tried reinstalling the programs, the individual codecs, and many other things but nothing seems to work. help!
