Changing Default Video?

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this in. Everytime I try to watch a video clip it wants to run it using Quicktime. I would rather it run using Microsoft Media Player. I don't know how it got changed it used to run everything in microsoft media. How can I change it back?

follow this .... START > MY COMPUTER > CONTROL PANEL > ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMMES > SET PROGRAM ACCESS DEFAULTS > click on CUSTOM > then find Choose Default media player then choose the one from that list
