Hi.
Now, the other day, I bought a game called Omikron the Nomad Soul. Good game, good play, and excrusiatingly good music: so good yet I am unable to extract it!
The fact is, it lies in files with the extentions '.adp'. This is most likely short for ADPCM. I have learned this from importing these files into GoldWave as raw data (with a whole lot of trial and error). I have even gotten so far as to be able to HEAR the actual music, and yet it is distorted.
I've provided a sample of the smallest soundfile in the sound directory: ADP File | MP3 Version
As you will be able to tell, the file is listenable, everything's OK except for the slight distortion.
If any of you audio gurus can help me out, that would be awesome!
Thanks,
Leraje
