Can anyone advise me?
I recently had some conventional C90 audiotapes transferred onto CDs to the 'Red Book Standard' employing a HHB CDR 850 CD writing machine. It was supposedly a straight analogue to digital conversion without any computer processing.
However when I examined one of the CDs on my PC I got a window up saying 'Sound Forge'. I cannot recall exactly what I did to get the window to launch, but I was using RealPlayer at the time and was connected to the internet and was variously clicking on properties and the like to examine the CD. My system is Windows XP Pro with SP2.
I do not understand the technology but I have read that there are written as well as audio files on audio CDs and perhaps I saw one of those when the Sound Forge pane launched?
Does anyone have an opinion as to what occurred and does anyone know how I can launch the same window again? Try as I might, I cannot repeat the procedure.
Thanking anyone who can assist in advance.
