I just bought a wireless cctv camera and i want it to connect it to my PC rather than my TV so i can watch my programmes, however i've only got a video output cable to connect the receiver to my TV, is there a way to connect my receiver to my PC

I assume you mean RCA type of connections for your TV?

Is there a way to record what the camera is showing on the PC, it didn't come with a recordable device

There are a few options, Most camera setups come with a dvr but to connect to your PC you will most likely need a TV card which should come with programs that allow you to record but that takes up some hard drive space. The systems that come with a DRV record in a loop and will record the newest over the oldest saved data.

You could purchase a PCI card for your PC which you can connect to a slot on your motherboard. This has BNC video connections so you would more than likely need a phono to BNC connector which will allow you to connect the camera to the BNC connections on the PCI card.
