no i have a bose surround system but the reciever got soaked in water and the subwoofer that came with it is kinda weak i just need a reciever and would like to have like 2 more subs

Just go and get a nice pair of floor standing speaker's with 10" sub's in them,That there will help you out instead of buying all this other stuff that could possibly fry your system.

my speakers are perfectly fine but i dont get enough bass so i just need a subwoofer not speakers

You'll only be able to use 1 if you try and hook up 2 you'll probably fry the stereo,This all go's back to the ohm's deal if the stereo can't handle it it will overheat and burn out the channel's.
