can u help me with my web cam

my web cam wont work ive tryed installing the driver every thing gos on i follow all the instrucktions its still wont work
when i install it ill try 2 open my cam but its says theres no cam installed and the light wont come on my cam when i plug it in 2 my usb why wont it work ive even tryed 2 deleate every thing and reinstall it but it wont work help please

i have windows 98 i dont think its the cam i think its the usb but my comp is old its pentum2 i will install it but it still says there is no cam found if its my usb ports what should i do 2 fix them i cant put my mouse or my kebored in cos they arnt usb i dont know where 2 start i dont know a thing about computers so if u can help me in detail on my usb please do thanx

my bios is german is there away 2 change it back 2 english cos i cant under stand none of it lol

some of its in english but the rest hard 2 read but its a ibm pentum 2 personal computer 300xl lol old but cann u change it 2 english so i can understand it if theres a way ill try it thanx 4 ya help m8
