Converting MPG to DVD

I have an MPG movie and I converted it to DVD format using WINAvi Video Converter. After I converted it, I noticed that there was no sound in the movie. In the MPG movie, there is sound. How can I fix this problem?

Hello,

You most probably did not encode the audio from the MPEG when you converted it to DVD.

If you're sure you did encode the audio, then you probably don't have the correct decoder to play DVDs.

I just fixed it. I forgot to download that K-Lite Codec pack. After I install it, it has been working great. All of the movies that I converted before that had no sound, they all have sound now. Thanks for your help.

Mpeg will work on DVDs. It doesn't have to be changed to Mpeg2.
