Best Editing Software???

im in need of a good video editing program. my budget is around 150

i know of sony vegas and adobe premeire.....
whats the prices on these??
any others??

I would DEFINITELY go adobe premiere over vegas.

I have used both while getting my engineering degree and i preferred premiere. It is much more advanced than vegas, but does a much better job and once you get used to it, you really grow to love it. I hated it at first because i was used to vegas... now i can't stand vegas.

ok......thanks for the input...i may only have around 130$ to spend after all... so which one is more comprehensive out of these two programs???

Uhm , there is trials for some u should try before u buy. i suggest, PowerDirector5 by cyberlink VERY good video editor. But try and go to their website and see if there is a trial for the software.

If of those two, I would go for pinnacle. Not that Sony is bad, I love Sony. Its just their software always has something missing.
