audio output problem

After I formatted my computer and installed the audio driver, the audio refuses to work. And the audio icon appears on the task bar. It is a desktop computer, hp Compaq dc7600 small form factor . please help me.

find sound properties in control panel and set the audio device.

if it doesn't appear, check device manager for warnings about the driver

or check volume levels
