Should I get the Altec Lansing FX6021 2.1 Amplified Speaker System?

I have a Realtek ALC655 onboard audio. No actual sound card.

Altec Lansing FX6021 2.1 Amplified Speaker System is a high-end 2.1 speakers from Altec. it sounds even great. but that's not enough, u need a great soundcard to, i.e. terratec or audigy 2zs.

thats a sweet setup. but weha's right, you'll also need a nice sound card to use the best of what it has to offer.

How about the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX External USB Sound System? Are the external sound cards as good as internal ones?

yep, it sounds good as the internal one. but it costs more. for best quality/price u should buy the internal one.

Should I just keep my MH-500 Monsoon speakers? Those speakers are a bit pricey. I need 2.1 speakers due to my desk set-up. Can any one recommend any 2.1 speakers for around $200 CDN or less?

i think u should look for logitech z2200 thx cerfified speakers. it sounds sweet and loud.

are they good for gaming? my monsoon's have great 3d sound. i also like flat panel speakers.
