all my songs doubled?

ok i have this problem with windows media player and itunes. for some reason my songs will multiply. i'll use one of the two and the next time i go to it i'll have doubles of all my songs. its really annoying. they keep coming back after i delete them. how can i stop this from happening?

I don't know about WMP, but with iTunes, do you have the music sstored in your iTunes folder?
