Hey, I have a question about optimizing my TV tuner cards performence.
I have a Hauppage Win TV go tuner card, I have just now recently started to record TV shows or specials off of my PC and I need your advice what is the best decoder I can use for good quality recording feed back ? also when I use windows media 9 VOD codec its already producing 30 seconds that are over 64 megabytes worth of space and I would hate to think if I recorded a show and it would produce a file to damn big to even fit on a regular 80- minute CD-R and also my computer is slow but it can playback video files very well as long as it's not under pressure from other programs working in the background.
what is the best settings and decoder I could use for file size reduction and decent qualtiy
