I need some help on adobe photoshop! Well, let's say for instance that i wanna make this square as my logo, but I have the white background behind it. How do I take the white background off?

what you want to do is set your background color to transparent... it will make a white and gray checkerboard background. once you have that, you can select the color you want. then after that, you go to the gradient tool and right click it and select paint bucket tool, then click the square and youre done...

Is it possible to get a transparent background, like when I put the image with a transparent background, like for a website or something.

Yeah I did that and saved it as a Jpeg or bmp and it still did the white background thing. Tell me how to fix it please? You might have already did and I didn't get it.

well ive never tried to make a transparent background, so im going off a whim here. I guess that you cant leave a pic as transparent.
