Hey, i just bought an MSI Neo2 Platinum Skt 939 and it comes with 8 channel audio. Now, I have a 2.1 200 watt powered speaker system I really like (Altec Lansing 621). How can I get 7.1 channel surround sound, and still use my speakers? What kind of connections and extra speakers will I need?
On the back of the mobo, the audio connectors include:
SPDIF Out (Coaxial)
SPDIF Out (optical)
L-in
L-out
Mic
RS-Out
CS-Out
The current connections for my speaker system include:
(On the back of the subwoofer)
Main Input
Aux Input
Left Speaker
Right Speaker
Some good advice would really be appreciated. Oh and also I don't want to spend too much. Thanks a lot.
