5.1 Speakers, 2.1 Card

If you have a 5.1 speaker and dont have a 5.1 soundcard, is it normal for some of the plugins from the back of the sub not to work at all?

wat kinda plugs does ur system have? What you can do is use a y cable to plug into the AUX in back of receiver,t hen plug the minijack side of the y plug into you sound card, What yull have is 2.1, but reproduced inthe back speakers, so yull get sound out of all speakers, even center one.

I highly recommend getting a external sound card, these hook up with USB witch every computer has.
