looking to set up studio lighting set up

was recomended to me. my worry is not being able to use this outside. and it is only a 2 light set up. i was looking for something more along the lines of 3 lights. i also want something like a 3 foot soft box.

would i be better off with this kit or something along the lines of a flash set up???

Well A lot of cinematographers and photographers use the 3 light trick since it's cheap and easy so that works depending on the lighy you have to work with.
