I am not looking for anything special. Just a point-and-click camera. But with all those brands out there, which one to choose?

I have a Canon PowerShot A560 right now, but it is quite bulky and old. I'm looking for something slimmer. And I don't need all the options on the spin dial.

I saw some new Canons that look good, but are priced quite high. Samsung looked promising as well.

My budget is ~$150. If a cheaper one fits my needs, I'll go for it.

i'd do whatever canon falls in the $150 range.

Pretty much all point and shoots under $300 are the same thing anyway.

What difference do they they have to be $10 apart? Is it just a model update?

yeah the small differences like that are usually color, region, or a software difference.
