So here's the info on the project I mentioned in my introduction:

My goal is to create an MMORPG. Before you start telling me it's never going to happen--it is. Get over it. Besides, I'm not gonna go and make WoW in 6 months. I know that. All I am looking to do is to set up a simple JOGL browser game with a plain background and blocks for characters (this game would just be for my friends and I to test). I am just looking to start small. When I would release a full MMORPG is unknown. What I am hoping to get out of this is just to get some experience with game development and networking. That way, I will have a head start for when I study it in college. If you have any suggestions, no trolling please, post them in reply to this thread. I AM NOT posting this to recruit people to a game development team. That is all.


Additional Information:

• I am still in the process of learning Java
• I use Eclipse currently as a programming interface
• I have no experience in OpenGL yet
• I have a little bit of experience with web design and server hosting
• I am using a Mac (2010)
