Stupid fan question..(Controlling 3 on 1 channel?)

^ Yes, lol. I had a very cheap fan controller (it was literally like $5, that i'm sure did not even come close to 3.6w per channel) running the 5 120mm stock fans on my 1200 plus the huge 200mm fan on top. It took about 6 months to finally kill it.

^ Wait... If this is 6 channel then that would be around 6 total fans... so If I just don't use 3 of the 6 channels and still run 6 fans, it should still be within the total tolerance of the board.

not exactly, it's still 7W per channel... so even if the other 3 channels aren't being used, each channel can still only do 7W
