What is your QPI voltage? The QPI voltage can have a significant effect on overclocking just as much as the core voltage. Also if your chip is a C0 model those are said to need more vcore for high overclocks.
Also, did you try lowering the multiplier?
did not try lowering the multiplier figured I could get it that way but wanted to play around with the higher multiplier first ya know. my qpi was up to 1.32 I think and my core voltage was close to the same now im at 1.2 and 1.17 running at 3.7 ghz
