Best Thermal Interface Material for Watercooled GPUs?

Hey, all. I've got a new pair of HD7970s, and I'm getting ready to throw some waterblocks on them. I'm guessing there have been improvements in technology since I did my last setup, so can anyone give me a good idea of what the best thermal interface material for watercooled GPUs is?

The best TIM would be thermal paste. For TIM, it's a tossup, from comparison to comparison there will be conflicting conclusions.

Actually one of the best TIMs looks to be Mayonnaise, although it looks like Cream Cheese can do in a pinch.

Honestly can't really go wrong with some Tuniq TX-2/4 or Arctic Cooling MX-4.

haha, read the review ghOst posted, they test all sorts of weird stuff like mayonnaise, cream cheese, mustard, lipstick, toothpaste... you get the idea.

I have always used Arctic Silver 5 for everything for the past decade almost.

I've beening using the MX-2 for several years already and it works really well. Another good thermal paste would definitely the Arctic Silver 5. You can't go wrong with these two.
