is this netbook laptop overpriced?

I would consider it slightly since you can get similar systems form MSI, Asus, Lenovo, etc for less

It's not a netbook. It's a media tablet. They're two different categories of devices.

A little overpriced. Check out the ASUS Eee PC 1000HA, ASUS Eee PC 1000HE, ACER Aspire ONE, Samsung NC10, Lenovo S10, and the Dell Mini 10 for comparison prices.

If you want to spend $399 on a 10" netbook, go with the 1000HE from ASUS.

Yeah it's a little much, I'd look at the other models people are suggesting. The MSI Wind has some particularly good feedback, especially on the screen.
