Default writing a batch file

Ok, I'm new to programming... as in this is my first time so I'm just a bit confused to say the least. I have a downloaded file that will run to silently install a driver for a media cable onto the end users computer. BUT now I need a batch file telling that driver to install. ?????? I'm the IT here at my work, but that is for Network and Hardware. I am no software geek thats for sure.

HELPPP????

I have found code that I can download for a Hotfix. But this doesn't help me any???

Default Re: writing a batch file

is it feasible to reboot the machine after the driver install? then, let pnp install the driver. you would need to add the shutdown command to the end of the batch script. add the -r switch.

or try this
