When I download a webtemplate, it says application not found.

when I try download a webtemplate, I get a pop up saying application not found..
how do I get the templates to work when downloaded aswell, as they are often blank. and say error if I right click.

what are you using to open the template? what is the template extension? .html?

Like Slacker said, what file type is the template? Is it just an archive? Is it a DreamWeaver template?
