Im putting in some sfx in the backround of my site. The .wav file is only 3 seconds long and as its on loop you hear the bit where it starts again. Is there anyway of getting rid of it?

Heres what i got.

<embed src="fire2.wav" autostart="true" width="400" height="24" loop="true">

I really don't knoe if this is the best way or not, but I'll offer it anyways: you can go in to a sound editing program (there are several pretty good ones out there) and add a quick fade in/fade out or cut a bit out or some other thing w/ the program (it really depends on the particualrs of the sound file)

Yea well i tred acid pro and I did that but not to succesful. I thought about making it longer so that it wouldnt have the stop start so often but then it got too big. I think the main thing is that windows media player plays it and there no way to loop it continusly- or can I?

Any help good

Well I just answerd my question. Instead of having <emded obj..
I put in <bgsound src="mysound.wav" loop=infinite hidden="true"> in.

Makes sense I guess.
