Visual Basic .Net

I have an application already running in Visual Basic 6.0 which uses the client as the server the client is for dataentry and the server interacts with the database now the problem is

- Off and on we are facing memory issues with the performance of the application.....? Does Visual basic .Net solve memory issues..?

-Can i have client in Visual Basic 6.0 and the Server in Visual Basic .Net if yes then how.....?


-Should i migrate to visual basic .net
