!!!Need help in ACTION SCRIPT 3!!!

Hi,

I am a student of Design: Multimedia and Graphics presently learning Action Script 3.
My project is to:
1. Create interactive kaleidoscope.
2. Would like the kaleidoscope to be sensitive and harmonised with a sound.

I tried to fallow Todd Yard's book, chapter 12 about creating kaleidoscope but there id thing from the downloaded sources that doesn't work.

Does anybody have an idea how to create interactive kaleidoscope in AS3?
Does anybody know codes for it?

Desperately need a help
