I need a bit of code to delete my dialler log, which was hi-jacked by a porn site, some time ago though. Have only recently viewed it in MS-DOS.
Would it go something like:
c:\
DELTREE/Y C:\dlr.log\
Will this delete the actual file or just it's contents, don't want to lose the dialler capabilities.
Also have you heard of or used 'DELINDEX.DAT', is it wise to pick up code which could be a multiply of nasties. I copied it to notepad, saved to 'c' drive, named it as above, restarted in MS-DOS, typed after C:\>DELINDEX.DAT but returned a bad command.
