i used macros to format excel pages. I had reports in excel that i wanted to cleanup. I used the record macro in excel while formatting the first report, assigned a hotkey, and ran the macro on all the other reports.
i remember having a macro for some email project. I needed to repeat the same actions over and over again. I did it manually for a bit, but that ****ed me off so i got a app to record a macro for it.
so i guess repetition of the same actions. an automated process.
