Hi,

Im starting out new in the field of e-commerce. I have outsourced to a web developer company to install a groupon clone on to my domain, and now i have hired a different development company to work on a few modifications to customize on it. Im concerned if its possible to upload the new modified work, while the website is running, without affecting its normal functioning. Since we are already open and customers buying on our site.

this is usually safe to do. you may want to check with the hosting company. i would also suggest choosing a time when active user count is low to minimize impact of any errors.
