Excel and checkboxes

Hello,

I have no experience with Visual Basic.

I am trying to insert a checkbox in a spreadsheet so that when I check on the box, it changes the row a different color.

I have gone to the MS help sections for VB and Excel, but am still confused.

Can anybody explain to me how to do this?

csamuels...this is great, thanks! Any way you know I can add one of those calendars into an excel cell so that when I click on a date box, it opens up a calendar, then puts in the numeric (like 10 Jan 02) date I select?
