I'd like to ask what is the difference between a class and a library?

I would guess that a class contains a set of functions for a particular application. So, how is a library different?

In the object-oriented world, a library is a collection of related classes. A networking library might contain classes to represent a socket, a socket server, a UDP datagram, etc.
