maybe this is already asked but still....
Why is it that all programs (say C programs) compiled on one compiler(say Turbo C) are not compatible with another compiler (say gcc)??
(is it because their libraries are different?? if yes then can anything be done to make them compatible??)
 
I think it's because of the libraries. From my experience with C++, there are some things that work with one compiler and not the other. But there always seems to be a work around for which ever compiler you use. Some compilers don't have some of the libraries that other compilers have... I always use gcc.

Anyone else know for sure?
