c++ help

anybody know a good site that will help me learn c++? my professor just told everybody to read a chapter in a book then he just jumped in and started coding. im really confused now. and hes never in his off ice when he asks me to come

I recommend you check out some of the tutorials in the About pages (http://cplus.about.com I believe it is), also, a great one that I used after finding it on Google was http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ except you can never get enough information, so try reading various tutorials as they all hold different and diverse ways of doing things.
