You dont show in the stats list until you upload a work unit.

Open up the log file (right click on the F@H icon in the system try, and go to status/logfile. Now copy the launch directory and paste it there into fahmon.

PPD changes with each workunit, but you can expect a average of about 2000.

Do not change cpu settings, leave cpu usage at 100%. When you wanna game, simply pause the client. Out of game, resume it.

how many PPD do you acheive rican ?

I hope my school lets me run it on there pc's. it's a specialist IT and science college, i'm sure they won't mind me running it on a few

FahMon says im running 2900PPD at the moment, meh...

So if i have to get permission for my school to run it for me, what about family and relatives running under my username and team, do i need permission for that too ?

also, i am a little confused. This is supposed to be the GPU client - yet my CPU usage is 100percent rock solid ?
And whats with FahMon's PPD, depending on what i set it as in preference it ranges from 1100 to 3100 which one am i supposed to be using

You can run as many as you want under your name, I have 5 running.

You need permission to run it anywhere, but its just for legal purposes, so your family don't count.

The ppd will change based on the work unit. You'll see 384pts 480pts an the dreaded 511pts. AND will change based on your video cards load. Not sure what you mean by preferances though.

You're on xp i bet... The cpu usage is messed in xp for gpu2 core, where even though it reads aas 100% on a core, it really isn't.

2900ppd is what my smp AND 8600 GET combined.

2900ppd isnt bad oreo.

A quad running smp gets less than that (even higher clocked ones), and thats 3 times as fast as the ps3.

Right now im only getting around 12,000 ppd (was getting over 16,000 with the old units) but once i build my new rig, i should be bringing in a bit over 20,000, with 4 gpus folding.

Im on the 511points, 1400ppd ! That sucks wait.. now it says 2800ppd. haha.

Anyway, My dad can fold on his laptop, nVidia 8600, my sister will also fold for me with her 8600, and my grandparents will fold for me on there Quad Core ''2.something'' ghz machine.

just noticed these score websites says ive completed 2WU's in the past 24hours, theres no way that in the past 17 or so hours ive only completed two when they seem to be finishing every 4 hours ? Maybe my pc went wrong or something or it went slow. Checked the log, says ive completed 3 and got to 93percent on another one that seems to of stopped because i changed the settings
