Do you know the average PPD of a 4850 ric? Was trying to find out but nothing seemed to have info.

Thats pretty sad...nvidia cards sre just pwning ATI cards in folding.

Looks like Nvidia will take a hit starting today. The new WU's will drop your PPD around 30% more or less depending on your card. They take almost twice as long to complete and are only worth 430 points.

Just checked and i'm doing one it's 480pts, and says bout 4h 20min to do.

Yeah its bull, i noticed earlier.

All the way down to 3000ppd. Hopefully they can get over and done with and we can get ones that create more ppd.

I think in part its a lot of the guys who have been running large smp farms complaining, because they get trumped by a couple gpu's.

Its just like how people get worked up over 3dmark or superpi.....my benchmark is folding.

Man 4850's do nothing compared to 8800's. Seems funny since they're so good in gaming.

think it might be the shader units in nvidia cards doing it for em.. or that ati can't create any good drivers for folding

Hmmm...I was going to upgrade to a new nvidia card to fold, but with the reported slowdowns I'm having some second thoughts about ATI. Would an nvidia 9800 still be better than a 4850?
