IT LIVES!.......almost

Well this is really annoying. I got everything setup just fine, except my second GPU is stuck at 100% fan speed. No matter what I do. Even tried flashing the bios with different fan settings and that didn't do anything.

Any ideas why?

wow do these cards run hot. the 9800gt with the beastly cooler on is at 66, second card is at like 95, third is at 82...

looks like i need to get some aftermarket coolers for the last two

Yeah multigpu folding creates lots of heat...thats why i cant run smp on the other rig.

Too much heat already...id have to run wc.

^that 95 is pretty darn hot for 24/7 use, the 82 one is not TOOOO bad, but ya, i would grab some after market coolers if you can find some for cheap...do u have the fans at max?

ya max. they are freaking loud too.

think im moving this rig out of my room lol

edit: flipped my side panel fans around, got my first gpu down to the 50's, the other two are now in the 70's, yay

^thats pretty strange, when i have my gpu fans at max, even on full load it is pretty cool running. 8800gt's /9800gts must have some pretty crappy stock coolers.

Yeah the single slot 8800GT/9800GT cooler is garbage.

All of mine are dual slot and still get hot.
