Only issue possible is if your system does not have proper cooling.

It will run youyr computer to near 100% cpu so if yuor system isn't properly cooled you may over heat.

It will also increase your power usage thus your bill wilk go nup.

Alright, thanks for the responses. As much as I would like to do this... I am not fully comfortable running it overnight without proper cooling. Maybe in the future when I upgrade I will

What can I do to monitor my temperature on my CPU and GPU? Currently when I start folding I turn up the fan speed on my GPU but I honestly don't know if its over-heating or now

What program did you change your fan speed? I use evga precision and it monitors temps too.

btw my gpu runs 89C 24/7.

Make up a username and get a Passkey too. Very Important.

Then use team 12864.

The rest has to do with your system and desired level of participation.

I currently have a GTX 260 GPU. What temp. do you consider it over heating? I just want to make sure I don't over-heat it while folding? It is currently at 64C (147F).

wow 64C is cold. my 560ti runs at 89C

Over 95 to me is overheating, gpus throttle at 100C.

64C is fine for a GPU; they're usually fine up to 90-100C.
