8600GT will get 1500ppd, more than smp on my dual core.

Unfortunately, I only have a 8400M GS, and as far as I know they haven't made a nvidia folding client for Linux yet. As soon as I can find one, i'll grab it though!

Well, you can upgrade that desktop to an 8800 for pretty cheap, and push out a lot more points per watt.
