I just installed EVGA Precision and bumped my 260 back to my old levels, installed the GPU client, and installed the SMP client.

The GPU is chugging right along, holding at 70C. My core clock is set at 649, shader clock at 1400, memory at 999, and fan at 55%.

I will see how the SMP client is running in the morning (well, later in the morning). I set the flags (-smp -verbosity 9) as well as the advanced option and big units. It is running, but my CPU is at 30-35% (roughly 20-40%, 50-60%, 15-25%, and 15-25%). Memory is at 46%, but I have nine applications open (including firefox w/seven tabs), as well as 76 processes.

Anyway, I am back in the game. ;)

EDIT: Still haven't made it to bed yet. ::sigh::

Anyway, what WU am I running here? Am I working on what I should be?

Ah, OK. Just redid it. I am running a_3 now. The CPU is pegged at 100% so I know it is working. ;)

Yup, and you do have a passkey, correct?

You should pull like 5k 24/7 on that.

Oh also remember, the gpu needs to be at, slightly higher priority, and the cvpu is idle.

Yep on the passkey. I just had to dig through my emails to find it.

I have the GPU set at a higher priority and CPU at idle. Should be good to go now. 01:43 to crank through 17% so far.

have any idea what acceptable temps are for a 965? I am currently running at 66C while at full load.

Isn't the max temp for 965's 62C?
edit: apparently 'max ambient case temp' is 65. Either way, running it at 66C does NOT seem to be a good idea

I'm going to try and redo my thermal paste tomorrow and replace it with MX-2. It is currently using what came on the cooler. Odds are it is uneven due to the shenanigans I had mounting the cooler with the mobo in the case. I just don't look forward to having to disconnect everything to pull the mobo tray...

Running with the side of the case open and I am at sub-50.
