Way to go, mate. Even though you had to limp across the line you still made it. ;)

Re: 5m

You can't run an smp on 1 core.... Theres no way to set it. Your x2 numbers are the same for my e2180 stock. And the cpu slider doesn't work right on smp.

My t6800 runs usually about 180ppd and my q6600 iss getting 4600ppd right now.

Edit

A p4 3.4Ghz HT chip gets bout 200ppd with a3 smp.

Well you guessed wrong professor patonb, it is possible and slow at times to run a a3_core on a single cpu chip.
Like I stated once, I have done this in the past and just recently to my now retired asus 900hd celeron 900mhz, it is possible to do and accomplish, the points may not be nothing at all.
But when it hits 1000ppd only once every 2 or 3 days it's really something to be amazed and proud of.

Remember that contest we had last christmas and near the end my pc gave up on me ? well the netbook did some work for me at home, with the ac unit halfway on for a week.

Never say it's not possible to do, anything is acheviable if you want something badly enough. :)

You gottsa read what I wrote, and you wrote.

You might be able to do smp on a single core chip, but i'd have to see a long to prove it. The core might ignore the smp fla and run just a unicore... BUT i know you can't do a smp on one core of a multicore cpu.

The core does not know smp 1.

Here it is patonb this is real proof it can run on 1 core, my old netbooks battery is sapped right now but I'll do another run on it before I leave in the morning. ;)

MidnightMike has struck shocking news into your system once again!

This is from my Celeron M 900 at 7:00am this morning, it will take it atleast 5 days to complete the WU, but it is indeed doing this on a a3 unit core.
I don't need this on all weekend, but if you want proof of points from the asus 900hd netbook a3 work unit, I'll alllow it to pull through until it's complete and shut it down for good.
