Are you OC'ing with the AMD Stock HSF?

This post is mostly for those guys out there that are OC'ing with the stock AMD HSF. I have a X2 4400 with stock cooling, and haven't OC'd it, but have read a couple posts about people getting good results with the stock cooling. I may be tempted to OC just a tad if temps allow.

If you're using the stock HSF, and are OC'ing what results are you getting?

well i used to run at 2.5ghz for 24/7 use on stock cooling on my x2 3800+.

Thanks Nitestick, I keep my pc on 24/7 it's mostly idle, but game when I am using it. Trying to decide whether or not to go and by a big typhoon tomorrow or not... probably won't but was just wondering.

well if you can afford the typhoon go ahead and splurge. its a brilliant cooler. i really don't reccomend running a reasonably overclocked processor on stock cooling like i did. i only did because i have the compulsion to overclock and couldn't help myself but couldn't afford a replacement HSF. the big typhoon has me up as far as 2.85ghz but i stay at 2.6ghz most of the time

i got my 3700+ at 2.75ghz now on stock cooling. Idles 32 and load 41
