You guys think SLI will be necessary in the future?

SLI is only worth it if you have enough money to buy several small countries

Thats not really fair. i got sli but i got it so that i could upgrade to 2 6600GT's l8ter cos im not rich or anything and i can;t afford to get a 6800GT. it took me over a year of all my income (birthday, chirstmas, work, pocket money) to get my system and i got the one i did cos i can't afford to do major upgrades and it means i can go a bit at a time.

shoulda just have gotten an eVGA 6600GT then use their step up program...then bam you got a 6800GT instead of paying another $200 for a 2nd 6600GT, which only some games even support right now....of course if you like to play 3dmark03 and 05 then you will ROCK
