Default You gotta pick up one of these!!!

I found this on the shelf at barnes & nobles. It's a special series from CPU magazine. It's called PC MODDER. I would highly recommend this magazine to everyone here. It's got tons of great MODDING articles and also has several lists detailing all sorts of highend components, such as latest CPUS, RAM, VIDEO CARDS ETC...

I was really impressed with how well it's put together. Check it out here. http://www.computerpoweruser.com/edi...UE&vol=9&iss=4

Very cool.

Several computer mags put out special editions like that, with the years best articles on whatever subject. And they are definately worth the money.

WOW!!! I might consider that.

Looks 100x times better than Atomic

And not so easily out dated and simplied like

About the only thing that found useful there was the chapter on Water Cooling. A lot of the other stuff in PC Modding For Dummies is really there for some one that has :-
* has no imagination. (Which is a core part of PC Modding)
* has not picked up a screw driver in his life.
* purchased a DELL.

Mum lent me her libeary copy of that book, and I breezed through with in about an hour.
