Can I have some opinions on this comp i want to get. Which of the CPU's should I pick and why. Also is either of those video cards alright and which is better...if not what are some alternatives. I dont want to spend to much on one.

- Intel Pentium 4 540 - 3.2Ghz - (800FSB/LGA775/1MB Cache) or Intel Pentium 4 3.2G-E (800Mhz FSB) Prescott or Intel Pentium 4 3.20G-C (800Mhz FSB)
- Gigabyte GA-8IPE775-PRO
- GeiL High Performance 1G Kit DDR400 for Dual Channel 2x512M DDR400 KIT HeatSpreader (DC Certified)
- Western Digital 120G 7200RPM 8MB SATA-150 (WD1200JD) Hard drive
- Sony DRU700A Dual Layer DVD+RW/+R, DVD-RW/-R Internal RETAIL DVD

The 9600 pro will be pretty good but I'd suggest upgrading to a 9800 pro 256mb edition. You will never need 1gb of ram unless your playing hl2 and doom3 at the same time, but if your gonna get 512 make sure it's 1 stick and it's a good quality like corsair xms with 2-2-2-5 timings. I say one stick because you could always get another similar stick in the future.

If you ever have any questions feel free to email me at, I will send you back an email as soon as possible.

I wouldent get the 3.2 unless you plan on getting the one with 2mb cache. If your not getting the 3.2 Ultra Extreme Edition. Then dig a new processor.
Finished With TF.
