i just completed my first overclocking and it went flawlessly i oced my dads p4 2.4 to 2.64 and everything seems to be working perfectly thanks kangaroo for your guide but my question is what program is it that i can check that everything is stable and running at the right temp

Download Prime95 and run the test for a few hours.

If you can look around for a copy of Everest Home Editon. It is no longer supported on there website though.....
